They saved my life!

Earlier we were playing Pirates. We had "invisible" swords because I'm cheap and scared someone will poke their eye out. LOL. Anyhow, at one point Adam "got me" and I fell to the couch and pretended I was dead. Needless to say, they were mighty proud of themselves. (come to think about it, I wonder, is that a good thing? To kill mommy?) Anyhow (LOL) I kept there still and didn't move, the kids stopped cheering and realized something was wrong. I tried not to laugh or giggle. They moved slowly and began "Mommy?...Mom? MOM! Mommy, are you alright??" I could tell they were starting to get worried (I know, I'm so cruel!!) and then Erick said..(CLEARLY, mind you. Speech Therapy has been working! lol), "Hold on, Mommy, I'll save you!!" Suddenly I felt someone pressing on my chest and then Erick opened my mouth (at this point I had no idea, I thought he was gonna stick something in my mouth. I was being brave and praying it wouldn't be poop) and I felt his face press against mine and then a huge BLOW in my mouth!!!! I got up right away and started laughing. I was like, "WHAT??" LOL. I said, "Thank you, you saved my life!! Now,......where in the world did you learn that??"........Adam got all sheepish and Erick yells, "Dinosaurs!" I forgot that yesterday we were watching Jurassic Park and there was a scene where the little kid get electrocuted and wasn't breathing and the paleontologist has to perform CPR on the kid. WOW, the things these kids pick up. LOL. I couldn't stop laughing and I'm still in shock. They did it real good too, they have more than a good idea about what to do if someone is not breathing. LOL. My Little Heroes!!!!

I want ONE good night sleep. Just ONE. That'll make all the difference. I don't think I remember what a good night sleep is. I could only imagine what it use to feel like. Ugh! I hate staying up all night with a crying child, I own up to my nickname in the morning - Grouch!
I told Erick about last night and the unexpected meeting with his soldier and he just laughed his butt off. What a punk! LOL. Though I do love hearing him laugh. Still, he was making fun of me. =( LOL.

Unexpected

Earlier today, I looked into Craigslist because I've been wanting to buy my older boys Christmas outfits. They've been growing like crazy these past couple of months. I've tried Walmart but they don't have what I'm looking for and the sizes are always screwed up. So, on Craigslist I found a Size 5 outfit -very cute! and it was only $5!!! I know, I quickly emailed and scheduled to pick it up today @ 7pm.
When I went to pick it up, a man showed up at the door. He looked at me all like "Ah". I began to feel awkward. Then he asks me, "You're Erick's wife, aren't you?" I was totally taken back and mind you, I was totally messed up - I had sweats on, a plaid button shirt wrapped around my waist, no make up (exposing my hideous face), a skull sweater and chanclas (flip flops) with my ashy feet (I know, ewww LOL) and my hair in a dorky pointy tail (I was playing with my hair earlier and left it this way without knowing.) LOL. I was under the impression I was meeting a WOMAN! not one of my husband's co-workers. I was so embarrassed and to make it worse, I kept acting awkward to the point he looked at me like "ooookaaay" LOL. I mean, come on, I try and make a good impression on people my husband works with, I just want to make him look good...then this happens. LOL. I know, I'm not friggin' Angelina Jolie although I AM just as cool. haha! So, I hope I didn't make my husband look too bad, I mean it was dark after all. LOL.

An attack on Love

I just got done talking to my baby love. He's amazing and doing well. He told me that something has been bugging him and making him feel uneasy. I asked him what and why? He told me that it might be satan because he knows that he loves me so much and he wont let me go for anything in this world. I must admit, I got all dreamy-eyed. My husband is so sweet and cute but I have no doubt this is true. Our relationship is mending and we are falling inlove all over again. Things are going great and we can't get enough of each other. Yet there is this uneasy feeling that has been attacking us both and I have no doubt it's the adversary trying to break our relationship. It's true what is said, "When you are most happy, Satan is on the prowl" We've been praying and just trying to keep our love strong. We also joke about it, saying that when we are on our first date when he comes home, Satan is gonna pop out of the bushes with divorce papers. LOL. We're silly like that.
I miss him so much!!! I want him home already!!! I really hope that he gets 12 months instead of 15. I want him to hug me with his very muscular arms to the point where I can't breathe. LOL. I LOVE YOU PAPA!!!

R&R and the inevitable test

R&R was great, we did so many things. We tried to fit as much as we could into the three weeks he was here.
We went to San Antonio - which I have never been to in the three years I've lived here - and we walked and road the river walk. It was so much fun! I really liked the music they had, it was some kind of flute band that covered many popular songs. Oh, and I tripped coming down the main bridged in the middle of the plaza. Yeah, everyone saw. ROTFLMBO!!
We saw the Alamo, it was so awesome. I couldn't believe how small it was. It looked even smaller being surrounded by many tall buildings and skyscrapers. It was so amazing overall. I love history and it has such a wonderful one. We learned so much!
We FINALLY went to IKEA (LOL) - now I can join the cool club...huh A.B.? It was pretty cool but I did get pretty PO at the people at the playroom. They apparently only had one slot available. They asked if we just wanted the one. I was like, "Are you kidding me, I'm not leaving one of my kids playing in a playroom while my other one gets jiffed" They just couldn't make ONE exception for a pair of brothers. Whatever I just took my kids with me.
We went to Sea World (I dig the San Diego one better!lol) but I did get to feed and touch a dolphin..oooh so super cool! I think I was more exited than the kids. LOL. The kids totally loved Sea World. Last time we went, Erick was one year old and Adam was just a baby. We got splashed like no other, seriously...like no other, we were the only ones that got completely soaked. How embarrassing!! lol. Erick rode his first roller coaster in which I missed because Mr. Adam decided last minute (like always, never fails) he had to go pee. We ran to the bathroom (it was such a comical scene). I ran with Ivy on my hip and Odin in the stroller and Adam holding on the stroller in which I almost had no control over trying to steer with one hand. Poor Adam was being flung back and forth and sideways where his feet would leave the floor. that was funny. Erick fed some birds that he wasn't suppose to be feeding but that's Erick for ya. lol.
Erick also took us to the wildlife farm in Copperas Cove which we loved!! We got to feed so many cool animals and we loved running from the horrible and crazy Ostrich. Those things are crazy! Then a camel got in Erick's window because the Mr. was too busy looking at my window. He rammed his WHOLE head and NECK in the van trying to get a MY feed. He was ignoring Erick in which Erick then later joked that the Camel had a crush on me and he was gonna take me to Iraq so I can go marry one. DORK! Erick is extremely strong but even he couldn't get the camel out of the car. LOL. It was so much fun and so much better than the one San Antonio. We went to another ranch but this was a so-called SAFARI RANCH, twice as expensive and the animals we not so interested in us as the ones in CC were. They did have Giraffes (MY FAVORITE ANIMAL) but they were not out in the open they were caged somewhere else. It was a total disappointment for Erick and I but the kids were exited as always. Erick Jr. DID say he wanted to go the other one where the animals eat from his hand. =) The family has spoken! hahaha.
Over all, it was so much fun. I couldn't believe it passed by so fast but again, that's the way we all (military wives) feel. Sucks! Now he's gone and is having a horrible time traveling. He called me today telling me they flew some place just to get flown back. He hates traveling to and from the middle east. Poor baby.
Anyhow, that's a little bit of what we did. Now I just took a pregnancy test so I have to go check it. LOL. I'm frigging' out. lol. =P
