Sick Kids

The day is finally over.....and I'm finally relaxing.

It was a bit of hectic day, all my babies were pretty sick with gosh knows what. They woke up suffering from diarrhea and we're able to keep anything down.

It's amazing how NOT grossed out I get anymore. LOL. I'm serious, I got pooped on, peed on and thrown up on today and I didn't even flinch. I was just like, "OK, there goes my eight shirt today." It's truly amazing. I would say that 7 years ago I would have freaked out, gaged, taken off my close and burned them, take a hot shower and got the heck out of there. LOL. I was an overly dramatic kid when it came to bodily fluids.

Not now though. Maybe it's because I'm used to cleaning butts all day that I have now been accustomed to even the biggest diaper explosions and nothing scares me now. LOL. Even dog, cat and whatever animal we have's poo does not intimidate me either. I mean, it's not pleasant by any means....I mean YUCK! but still, it's just a regular ol' smell to me now. Sometimes I even miss it.
HAHAHAHA, JK!!

But gladly, my kids are feeling better now that they showered me with their "gifts"..lol. They are doing much better, fevers are down and no more bodily fluids being "thrown". LOL.

This means tomorrow is back to school and back to the regular schedule. I'm more than sure I'm gonna get protests on the back on again rules of 'No TV during meals', 'No food upstairs' and 'diapers are ONLY for babies' (JK!) But I know they will want to get pampered again, I know my kids. They are sneaky little vermin. I must remain strong and try not to get too irritated when I get the ever so loved and ever so annoying, "Mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom, mom.....mom pwease, mom pwease..." Hahaha, every mom knows that one.
=P

I'm just glad my little stinkers are doing well and I'm finally relieved I didn't have to take four poopin, peeing, vomiting kids to the ER. Because truly, it's a miracle if I don't go to the ER at least ONCE a month.
=)

Anyhow, that's been my day.....inspiring, isn't it? LOL.

White Hair

I never thought it to be possible....not at my age anyhow.

On my 24th birthday, I found a white hair - which I showed to everyone. A week later, I found another. I know, I'm stressing like crazy. I eat well....very well. I mean, I eat healthy so no issues should arise from there. It must be stress, what to do? I can't just go on and have a manicure or pedicure...I'm not into that at all! Massage? I could go for it, except I'm too self conscious, I wont let anyone touch me and I wouldn't pay that much money for someone to rub me down. I'm about the cheapest person anyone will ever meet. LOL. My husband on the other hand, well.... lol.

So, for the third time, today I found another white hair on my friggin head! That alone is stressing me out more. Aside from the listed above, I don't know what else to do. I'm so tired, very tired...I think I'm gathering wrinkles! I'm only TWENTY FOUR! I don't know, I think I need a huge break but I doubt anyone could handle my buggers. I can't even handle my own little monsters at times. hehehehe. Time will tell. wish me luck my dears, I'm gonna need it! =)

Dentist

Today was the kids' dental appointment - the boys' millionth and Ivy's first! =)

Ivy has an alright experience, she cried at first - like every single kid of mine did their very first time. As I suspected, she would have some minor damage due to her index finger-sucking. What can I do, I've tried pretty much everything short of spicing up her finger with hot sauce like my mom did my brother. I don't think I have the heart to do that, specially to my little princess. Have I told you, she's about the cutest thing in the WORLD! lol. Anyhow, she was soon soothed by the brushing of her teeth. She LOVES to brush her teeth. A few weeks ago, I bought her a lighted princess toothbrush with she holds on like dear life and I have to pry from her every time I brush her teeth - which then leads her back to her index finger to comfort herself. I mean, if I gave her her toothbrush, she'll get it all dirty. I can't win. LOL. Anyhow, she got a cute little bag of goodies including ANOTHER toothbrush - they had already given her the one they cleaned her teeth with. How many does she really need at this age? lol. Anyhow, I think she had a rather good experience. I love Dr. Brandt and his team, they all rock. The dental assistants are so amazing and so helpful, they always make my kids feel welcome and at ease. I recommend him to everyone, they have a sweet clinic and a whole team of the nicest and most wonderful dentists and dental assistants ever! =)

And...yet again....my kids have made it on to the NO CAVITIES CLUB!! =) .....it rocks every time!

Rockin' The Ice!

Yeah, today was pretty awesome. I've been waiting for this type of weather for a long long time. I mean, for reals, when was winter suppose to start. I was caught off guard, though, yesterday was pretty warm. I ran outside and got my doggy in. Poor her and poor me, I had to clean up the mud she dragged in. Oh my. Still, I love this weather. I put my chimney on and it was great! I loved looking out the window at the pretty ice crystals. It was pretty awesome! We went out for a drive and all the trees' branches were covered in ice, it almost looked like snow from far away. It was a pretty site. We have some roses in the front and the kids kept breaking off the icicles off the stems. LOL. Kids.
